The core aim of KMMS is to provide assistance to people in financial difficulty by helping them to address their financial problems, make informed choices and build longer-term capability to budget and manage their money. KMMS provides a range of education services including; budgeting, debt management, saving plans, family payment education, bill paying, purchasing assistance, internet & phone banking, information on loans and credit cards, lost superannuation, tax assistance, financial counselling, insurances and free access to phone and computers.

KMMS consistently exceeds the KPI requirements set by the DSS, and is often referenced as a very good example of a Money Management Service.
